inner peace

For me inner peace simply means  to have calm within yourself,  the ability to look inwardly rather than outwardly when things change, this means that I can cope with all the changes that affect us all constantly.
It also means doing things to completely stranger without expecting something back. 

opinion

Politics has been a battle between people on the entire world for the past several years and even decades. With people having different points of view and ways of thinking, it makes it harder for Politics to advance and grow making it easier to promote peace. One of the biggest problems in politics it’s that people do not have the knowledge to take charge on their decision to elect a person. Or  maybe  there not politically aware of the situations in which there experiencing. People sometimes don’t even care and do not research on politicians and laws they just  vote for what the majority goes for, his can contribute to the falling of peace.

One example can be seen in today’s society on the issue about choosing a president, the past presidential elections people just voted for what the majority went for which was Obama. They didn’t research on what the benefits of choosing that persons who was or even what the disadvantages were.

Stand up video

Discrimination against people who have different sexual preferences is very common all around the world. This  video clearly show how two boys are being discriminated because f their homosexuality, and how we have to stand up for homophobic bullying instead of just watching what its happening. Sometimes people who get bullied feel pressure to followed what society think is right, so they end up doing what society whats them to follow, instead of following their instincts. In my personal opinion i think this is wrong because it can cause an internal conflict within the person and that may lead to a depression and later it can turn out into a suicide. Statistics can show that the most common people who commit suicide are homosexuals beside the teenagers who fell pressure.

LIBYA

This country is suffering right know what we can called a civil war. It all started in february when an antigovernment group started protesting against their leader Qaddafi, colonel Muammar el-Qaddafi has ruled the country since 1969. When Qaddafi saw all this happening he lashed out with a level of violence never seen before,the rebels created an army and right now it has expanded all the way to the capitol of Tripoli.This event has turned very violent and bloody for that reason the american and european forces have intervene and created campaigns to strike against Colonel Qaddafi and his government.

In my opinion i think that this is serious because innocent life are gonna be taken, because its becoming almost a war. And i also think that Libya need the intervention of european and american forces to overthrow Qaddafi's government so that it dosent get worst.

The organization founded in 1993 by John Wallach is mainly dedicated to empowering young leaders from regions of conflict with leadership skills required to advance reconciliation and coexistence. The organization goal is to help Israeli, Palestinian and Egyptian teenagers, and it has expanded all troughs Asia. This summer camp created with various activities such as dialogue meetings, conferences, educational workshops, professional opportunities, and adult educators programs, are given to young teenagers to encourage them to develop respect, confidence, and many other skills. This organization has also helped worked in international affairs, politics, media, medicine, and media. It was basically design to bring countries that are facing problems to develop peacemaking and to build reconciliation among each other, and to start with this they have to start from the roots of their culture which are the children.

With the existence of many issues on today’s society this program has given an opportunity to young leaders to build a character in leadership. Many organizations and communities who have heard of this program have join them and decided to create a safe and educational environment for people. The USAID from American people, which is an organization similar to seeds of peace as generously assist them by helping them to create camps operations as well as international programs, without their help and many other agencies the seeds of peace would not be able to expand. As well as the USAID the Tall Brothers Inc, the nation greatest builders of luxury homes in America as taken part and contributed to the growth of the organization.

  

Volunteering for the peace of seeds is essential in order for the organization to keep helping people. There are several ways people volunteer and make this enormous agency expand as much as possible. Raising funds and being creative with all this has help to support them, an gave them a reason to keep running and expanding when they see all people who has helped and sign in. As well as volunteering there exist a internships program committed to provide students and professionals new to the non-profit sector with opportunities to develop skills, gain experience, and work with  the staff on meaningful projects.

Some of the characteristics that this organization has are that they raise awareness on social and political issues. Whit the creation of their website the seeds of peace, people can have an inside to what really this group does to help. Some of the information contain on this page are actually points of views, and blogs of people that are part of this enormous group. This type of things the website contains is a way for the organization to communicate and stay in touch with all the people who help or are willing to help. Finally some of the videos from YouTube that they have link to the page show how the organization seeds of peace works and helps encourage people to join them.

what does the word peace means to you?

When i see or hear the word peace many things come to my mind, one major thing is freedom, love, and hope. People working together for the same cause, instead of fighting each other. It also means that nobody is suffering, and everyone is happy. Peace is not only for humans but the world including nature.

Building Peace Video

The video was mainly supported by an american who travel to the mid east and in his travel he found a small village in which he built an organization dedicated to give education to many young teenagers, mostly girls.
He mostly focus in  that education is the most important base for success.In the video he mention that to change the way a society thinks and acts you first to start by enforcing education mostly focusing on young children.Their main goal was to educate girls and trying to engage them in education as young as 5 years old and educated them all the way to 5th level,by doing so the mortality rates would reduce and would help them change their lifes and start their own businesses.This central  Asia institute which was created in Pakistan by Greg in 1996 has help many young children develop and change the way they think.This institute was primarily  built with the intention to change society from their roots, which are their children.
